A perfect Classic pocket cruiser with proven sail/ seagoing capabilities. Kept in fine fettle, well maintained and looked after. Extensively cruised the coasts of Scotland and the Irish Sea. Isle of Man.
She is to be sold with her full and extensive inventory of gear.( For both when in commission or ashore
The hull is thought to be over 100 years old, designer / builder unknown she has the lines of a vessel pre 1930's.
Originally an open sail boat with centreboard. In the 1960's a cabin was added and fitted out, around the same time her first engine was installed. The centreboard was removed and a long iron external ballast keel was added.
She won the round the island race in 1957 ( Isle of Man( and has more recently returned to these sailing grounds) .Current owner bought her in 2009 set her up for extensive cruising and she had done all that he now wants something a little more sedate with creature comforts.

One open cabin. open aft cockpit.
A sliding main hatch and spray hood were installed by the present owner. allowing for standing in the companionway whilst cooking.
There are two full length, wide settee berths with stowage below. Leatherette fabric covering on the berth cushions, sitting headroom only in the cabin.
A small demountable dining table is fixed to the coach roof. Forward is left open used as a Bosun's store. Box for the "heads" sited under the fore hatch. There 7 portlights in the cabin sides giving a light airy environment below.
1 x gimballed parrafin lamp and 12v cabin lights.
Either side of the engine box there is a single removable sink with manual Fawcett water pump. 15litre plastic fresh water containers.
Opposite a Taylors spirit stove double ring burned and grill.
A demountable seat to use whilst working in the galley. Fitted stowage for food and kitchen utensils, cutlery etc.
A cockpit table / lazerette door when stowed. away.
Displacement hull. Carvel planked in good quality materials of Pitch pine on oak frames.Her hull is at least 100 years old. Originally built as an open sail boat with a centreboard.
The coach roof and cabin of mahogany, cream painted was added in the 1960's when she was then kept in Lancashire, David Moss, then an apprentice carried out the work. The centreboard was replaced with a long external ballast keel. Additional internal lead trimming ballast.
Decks are of marine ply with a painted finish. ( Blue grey colour),

Rigged as Gaff rigged sloop, two jibs ( large and small) adjustable Bowsprit traveller to suit. Adjustable jib fair leads.
Sails replaced 2012. All now tan terylene made by Jeckells in good used condition.
