"Fame" was constructed circa 1960 in Banff to a traditional larch on oak design as a lifeboat for a trawler. First motorised in 1973, under her current ownership she has been re-engined in 2020 with a Lister 2 cylinder air cooled Diesel engine and an LH150 gear box as well as a new stainless exhaust.
