Remarks : 'Golden Plover' is a gaff rigged wooden sailing boat, ideal as a day boat. She has been successfully raced in the past in Old Gaffers regattas. Golden Plover is mentioned in 'Leaves from Rowans' log by Dr R B Carslaw, a book written about family sailing on the Scottish west coast in the 1930s.
