Jacobite Queen Built in 1949 by Hawthorn, Leslie at Hebburn on Tyne as a Tyne ferry ,she remained in service on the river Tyne until 1987 when she was acquired by the present owner. She was extensively refitted in 1987 – 1988 for service on the Caledonian canal and Loch Ness where she has successfully traded. This Car/Passenger Ferry has been out of service for some time but kept up to date by owner as a possible "Back Up" ship to his present Ferries.
