She is one of the last examples of this Rossiter's Pintail 27 design to be built (approx 40 built) . A GRP Bermudan Sloop. Her present owner and only her third since new, has carried out some significant upgrading and updating to the the navigation and electrical systems. Taylors Stainless steel Paraffin cabin heater with tank installed new in 2003.
Two water tanks with 126 litre capacity. Foot pump supply, cold water only to heads and the galley sinks. Heads separate compartment with a pullout basin and an original Baby Blake toilet.

The Rossiter Pintail 27 was designed by Hugh Rossiter and produced by Rossiter at their yard in Christchurch (first in wood and from 1970 in GRP). This example is a masthead Bermudan sloop of GRP construction with long keel, bilge keels and transom mounted keel supported rudder. “Spintail” reportedly dates from 1973 and has been in her current ownership for approximately ten years. She has grey decks with extensive grey Treadmaster panelling, white to doghouse and varnished timber cockpit coamings. The topsides are black with a varnished timber upper section forward of the break in deck. There is a broad white boot top and red antifouling.
Spars are gold anodised aluminium alloy. Auxiliary power is provided by a 13.4kw Yanmar 2GM20 inboard diesel engine.
