Solace has 2 double cabins, a spacious saloon and linear galley, and separate heads. The forecabin has a comfortable double vee berth, storage lockers and LED lighting. The forehatch was replaced in 2021.
In the saloon is a horseshoe shaped dining area which has seated 12 people! This can make a comfortable sea berth for one person. There is storage under the seats including 2 batteries. The table has a drinks compartment underneath. The galley is to port and has ample storage cupboards and a 3 burner cooker with oven. Pressurised water with hot water from a calorifier. There is a cool box and a separate portable12/240v fridge.
The Nav station has a forward facing chart table and storage. The aft cabin can sleep two adults in comfort and has storage lockers.
In the heads there is a sink with shower attachment and a Rheinstrom sea toilet which has been serviced this year. All seacocks were changed in 2019. There is a JVC stereo and speakers in the saloon.
GRP hull with kevlar and carbon fibre reinforcement. Isophthalic acid gelcoat osmotic protection.
Solace has been updated regularly and is very well equiped. At the bow is a 35lb plough anchor with 40m galvanised 8mm chain and a Lewmar electric Windlass fitted in 2020. Behind the anchor locker is a good sized rope and buoy storage locker. The mast has deck floodlight, radar reflector and steaming light, with a tricolour and anchor light at the top. (The wind instruments unfortunately do not work). There is a spinaker pole and a whisker pole for the Genoa.
In the cockpit there is a small locker to starboard and a huge locker to port which can hold folding bikes and more. The diesel tank is beneath this locker. To the stern is a large locker containing two gas bottles and the MV Airo5 diesel heater which supplies all cabins. There are display instruments on the bulkhead for speed and depth, and at the wheel there is a chartplotter, GPS repeater, multi display head and autoplot ( unfortunately not working)
The cockpit has a Sprayhood in very good condition, and a removable cockpit table. There are two halyard winches, two genoa winches and spinaker winches.
Solace has a "Sugar Scoop" stern which is fantastic for boarding from a dinghy. There is a locker for outboard fuel cans and a fresh water hose, and a stainless steel swimming ladder.
Solace is equiped with a Lowrance Chartplotter connnected to an Ocean Safety AIS transponder. We have a Standard Horizon dVHF and a VHF splitter. There is a remote mic in the cockpit. In addition rthere isd a separate Navman Plotter at the Nav station.

Solace has a Jeckels Furling Genoa, age unknown but in good condition, and a fully battened Mainsail from Owen Sails with 3 reefs, new in 2021. There is also a lightly used Saturn Sails Spinnaker and a storm jib which attaches to a removable forestay. There is a Stack pack which has just been serviced
All standing rigging and the guard wires were replaced in 2021. The running rigging has been replaced as needed and is all in good condition
Solace has full length Jackstays and attachment points in the cockpit. On the pushpit there is an automatic inflatable Dan buoy and a horseshoe lifering, and another lifering fitted with floating line.
We have a 4 person liferaft on permanent hire from Norwest Marine, which sits in a cradle on the coachroof. The hire of the liferaft could be taken over by a new owner, or the liferaft returned.
Inside are numerous fire extinguishers and a fire blanket at the cooker. There are alarms for smoke, Carbon Monoxide and LPG.
